.1930s .1940s Arts & Crafts baroque pearl freshwater pearl sterling silver pearl marcasite wreath brooch

A spectacular arts & crafts era 1930s 1940s freshwater baroque pearl leaf wreath brooch. 

The circular sterling silver brooch is accented with 6 organic shaped pearls, which are bright white in colour with good pearlescent lustre.

The pearls are set into claw prongs with leaves that are detailed with marcasite and milgrain detailing.

The brooch is stamped "STERLING" and measures 34mm in diameter.  It weighs a good 7.2 grams.
