A striking Victorian to early 1900s miniature spiral twist antelope horn pendant that is caped in rich gold caps.
The genuine horn pendant is possibly attributed to be a small Chobe bushbuck antelope yet the miniature spiral twist makes me believe it is a carved good luck amulet to mimic the curves of a larger antelope horn.
The black good luck horn charm is elegantly fitted with rich 14ct gold cap fittings, allowing the contrast between the deep natural horn and the warm golden tones adding refinement while maintaining an earthy, heritage feel.
This rare Victorian to early 1900s heritage amulet pendant is a timeless sculptural item and is perfect to worn alone on a simple chain, or layered for a more expressive, curated look.
The horn pendant is in excellent antique condition with dimensions of 49mm hang. The gold is unmarked yet tested as true.
Do note that the chain pictured is not included in the sale of this pendant.
