Truly magnificent, this antique rectangular early 1800s Turquoise and Pearl brooch is set in high carat gold.28 Turquoise beads frames the outside of the brooch with 37 smaller seed pearls sitting snuggly between the Turquoise beads and the blue enamel centre. The blue enamel is also turquoise in colour and is finally adorned with a gold Maltese cross that is accented with 9 smaller and graduating seed pearls.
The brooch is in incredible condition for it’s more than 200 years in age.The symbolism of the tokens used in the brooch is beautiful.
