A sweetheart heirloom.
The pink tourmaline gemstone is known as a stone of the heart. In 1912 it was formally recognised as an alternative October birthstone, beloved for the symbolism of love and compassion.
This lovely pink Tourmaline gemstone is a smooth cut cabochon gemstone with a rough size estimate of 3ct.
The top is a beautiful smooth curve, noting that upon side study, the stone does curve slightly more to one side - credited to being an antique hand cut stone.
The gold is a warm rose gold in colour, with the band being hallmarked for Chester circa 1912 and 15ct gold. Note the hallmark is worn from age.
This treasured ring will fit a ring size K 1/2 (16.3mm inside diameter).
