This gloriously beautiful Baroque revival fancy floral wax seal fob is historically hand carved from solid gold and holds a lovely onyx gemstone engraved with the word Sanah.
Sanah is an Arabic word with the meaning of "radiance," "splendour,” "brilliance," or being “praiseworthy”.
The wax seal is a smaller size yet absolutely solid in weight. The hand carved gold is unmarked rose gold (tested and confirmed), which was bloomed with a bright yellow, higher carat gold. A lot of the higher carat, yellow gold bloom has worn off due to age revealing the solid rose gold below. The wax seal has an all original and quirky lopsidedness to it - seems the onyx gemstone seal has an irregular curve to it.
