1800s incredibly rare Antique Georgian Pinchbeck 18ct Gold Gilt torpedo day and night earrings

A spectacular find - a true early 19th century treasure, these long torpedo chandelier dangle earrings are crafted in pinchbeck and gilded in a rich and thick 18ct yellow gold.  The earring drops hang at 78mm long, hanging on two 9ct gold shepherd hooks. 

The gold hooks are an Edwardian era  addition which now suspends the Georgian chevron chased torpedo drops. 

Each torpedo ends in a Renaissance styled scrolling detailing with dangly metal shafts and two intricately detailed caged dangles ending the earrings off. Traditionally the caged dangly could be removed should you wish for something shorter in length.  The earrings are incredible. 

Do note that one of the metal dangly shafts is missing (priced accordingly).
