An exceptionally beautiful Victorian era French Jet mourning photo locket pendant.
This magnificent item is a hand carved oval Jet black pendant with a stunning gold and seed pearl Lily of the Valley flower accent.
The Lily of the Valley holds the sentiment for return to happiness and this rendition holds 14 graduated seed pearls as accent. It is a lovely photo locket in good antique condition.
When turned around, the jet locket is graduated to hold a photo on the back.
The original Victorian era photo of a grey headed gentleman is sill held securely, noting that the photo glass does jiggle but sits securely.
The locket has been repaired sometime in its past (as photographed) but is secure and repair is only visible on close inspection.
