A magnificent treasure - I have seen none other like this brooch.
This beautifully detailed silver marked era 1870s Victorian British Transvaal 2 shillings postage stamp ingot holds a right facing queen Victoria in a border of words for “Transvaal Postage Two Shillings”.
The detailing is fantastic with the reverse of the silver ingot brooch having a border of leaves and an engraved name for Dr. P. Keller, Group 8.
