Precious, beautiful and perfect, this late Victorian to early Edwardian sweetheart brooch is a capital letter A that is embezzled with 11 graduating small seed pearls.
This dainty antique brooch has an overall size of 31mm long x 11mm wide with the A initial being soldered onto the long “safety pin” shaped pin brooch.
There is no hallmark on the gold sweetheart brooch, yet tests as 9 carat gold. Precious and beautiful.
