A rare delight.

In the Victorian era, the acorn was a popular symbol used in jewellery as a token for potential, strength, and endurance - a promise of great things which can grow from small beginnings.

This marriage of antique silver chains is perfect and ready to wear.

I paired the truly rare and highly desired Belle Epoque (late 1890s) fancy Acorn accented Albertina ladies watch chain segment with an English hallmarked silver fob chain segment.  The rare Belle Epoque Albertina chain is accented with two acorn decals and with an acorn topped Etruscan revival tassel gob dangle.  I further added a most lovely brass bodied watch winder key and a silver t-bar dangle.  The watch winder key swivels on itself, revealing a number 3 and a star accent per side.

The chain unit is magical and has a total neck circumference length of 47cm with a nice fob charm dangle of 5cm. The antique English fob chain section has a gauge width of 4mm.

It is gorgeous and ready to own and treasure.
