A treasure - a solid silver antique 1896 large South African 2 Shilling ZAR Kruger coin that has been presented into a modernist silver pendant / brooch setting.
This antique 925 silver coin holds the Bearded bust of President Kruger on the front and the Arms of the Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek (ZAR) circled by legend, date and denomination.
The coin date is for circa 1896 with the setting being a modernist sterling silver swirl frame. The frame holds a brooch setting on the reverse, with the two swirl loops allowing for the conversion to pendant setting.
It’s truly a unique and a wonderful, easy to wear collectors item.
Dimensions: 51.5mm long x 33mm wide x 15.9 gr in weight.
