.18ct .1890s .1900s antique rare beautiful French yellow gold and silver Art Nouveau Belle Epoque era fancy link bevelled diamond link 750 gold and 925 silver chain link necklace

An antique treasure - this exceptionally beautiful 18ct gold fancy link heirloom chain is a high carat yellow gold Belle Epoque era watch chain paired with a near identical diamond shaped silver chain segment. 

The solid gold chain links are made of a repetition of 8 fancy diamond shaped links, with the silver section having 6 fancy diamond shaped links.  Each of the elongated 18ct gold and 925 silver diamond links are joined with gold and silver curb chain links. 

The beautiful original 18ct gold chain had a total run of 33cm and the silver segment a run of 24cm.  Together the chain has a run of 57cm and has two French fob lobster clasps - one in 18ct gold and the other a French sterling silver marked clasp. 

The chain is truly glorious.
