This magnificent master goldsmith made brooch is in the 1940-70’s Italian design style. The master Guilloche enamel work is flawless and incredible -boasting a sparkly fish scale patterning that graduates from yellow to shades of green to salmon pink in colouring. The 18k gold is mostly white yet yellow on the belly of the brooch.
The Swordfish / Marlin fin is masterfully detailed and hand engraved in a feathered patterning with the sword front being smooth and graduated.The head of the fish is adorned with 13 pave set diamonds and a tear shaped ruby.
