A glorious unit.
A fine 9ct gold chain married to an Edwardian sterling silver paperclip chain.
The two Edwardian era chains are the perfect combination of fancy link chains - long silver paperclip links that are paired with long and slightly curved 9ct gold marked curb chain links.
Each 9ct gold link is marked .375 and 9ct gold, with the English passant hallmarking the 925 silver standard.
The excellently made 9ct gold segment is roughly 18.5cm long, with the total necklace length at 46.5cm long. The fob chain necklace opens and closes with a circa 1915, Chester English hallmarked fob clasp.
To the ensemble I added a fancy, antique Albertina T-bar dangle and a precious mid century modern silver marked Saint Christopher heart medallion.
The links of the fob chain necklace are solid and measures about 4mm wide.
This Edwardian era, fancy curb chain necklace is a desirable solid gold and silver chain combination that will remain an heirloom and daily wear necklace for many generations to come.
