A religious treasure.This early to mid 1900s Catholic home or traveling alter is a miniature chapel in a brass metal that has been gold plated.The miniature icon is of a chapel front with two ornate doors that hinge open to reveal a print of the Holy Virgin Mother Mary.The miniature icon would have been a travelling alter or triptych. The beautiful treasure presents beautifully - standing on a brass hinged stand. It has been well loved, with the central steeple having snapped off sometime in the past.I have priced it accordingly, noting that similar items are hard to find below R1500 internationally.Dimensions: 7.8cm high x 5.8cm wide.
