A beautiful, all over engraved Edwardian hallmarked 1901 antique Ivy leaf engraved sterling silver vesta case. 

Hallmarked sterling silver for Birmingham, English 1901, the vesta match case is hand engraved on the front and back with Ivy leaves. 

In the 19th and early 20th century the ivy leaf symbolised everlasting love, immortality, and fidelity.

The front of the vesta case holds a perfect and open crest shaped cartouche - ready to be engraved for you. 

The lovely sized rectangular shaped vesta case has dimensions of 44mm side way hang x 45mm long.

It has a good and solid weight of 14.9 grams.
