A true novelty - an incredible piece of Art Nouveau silver, this small novelty baby rattle is a tiny little chick breaking out from an egg shell. 

It is well hallmarked for Chester, circa 1912. It is a lovely, sweet size at 46mm hang (from a large sterling silver o-ring) x 17mm wide.

It is a hollow form rattle that has a bit of gentle baby gum marks. It really is a rare treat. Note the chain is not included in this sale.
