Iris Glass was a Czech made glass paste stone to mimic the rainbow colours of rainbow quartz.

Developed in Bohemia (modern day Czech) during the late 19th / early 20th century, the paste stone was highly popular during the Art Deco era.

The Iris Glass paste stone is set in a geometrically formed teardrop shaped frame with a few spots of Marcasite gemstones for sparkle emphasis.

The silver is marked 830 - a typical French or German Art Deco silver marking.

The glorious Iris Glass pendant hangs from a 43cm curb chain necklace.
