This antique 833 marked silver cup is a Jewish Kiddush cup that is a ritual goblet used to sanctify the Sabbath or Jewish festivals over kosher wine.

The cup is marked “LG silver 833”, which is believed to be for the silversmith Lustig Gering of Jerusalem.

The cup stands proud on a silver tulip pedestal with a hand engraved leaf framed cartouche with no name engraved on it.
