This highly detailed clam shell brooch is an unmarked silver beauty which is believed to be of early 1900s Belgian origin for the town of Ostend.

The clamp shell holds universal symbolism for protection, patience and hidden beauty.

This solid silver brooch is hand engraved and opens and closes with a c-clasp brooch fitting.

The dimensions are 24.5mm high x 29mm wide with a nice weight of 3.8 grams.
