A true treasure.
This striking Victorian revival bangle is a friendly snake head with a slightly open and happy mouth. The snake head is encrusted with a sea blue Chrysoprase cabochon head and two pink ruby eyes. The silver marked body is rich in antique patina with slight gold gilding still visible in places.
This rare serpent bangle is well made with the flexible silver marked mesh body that coils gracefully around the wearers wrist, ending in a quirky smooth silver snake tail.
Serpents were cherished motifs in antique jewellery, carrying symbolism of eternal love, protection and wisdom.
This era 1920s to 1930s silver bangle is a smaller wrist size in its current shape at 59mm inside diameter.
Do note that it is open ended and can be gently moulded to a different wrist width. Please note
