A beautifully preserved, classic and fancy form Art Deco era silver and glass vanity jar.
The jar is hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham circa 1929.
The well weighted and large hallmark silver lid is all over engine turned engraved with a zig zag line pattern and a beautiful and large scroll script monogram reading for G.
The weight of the sterling silver is a solid 38.8grams.
The lovely and bulbous shaped glass powder jar is nice and large at 105mm diameter with no chips in the glass. With the hallmarked silver lid, the vanity jar stands at a good 67mm high.
Do note the sale of this vanity jar does not include the pearls pictured.
