A magnificent piece of silver, wearable art. From the Portuguese 1930s 1940s Arts and Crafts era, this high relief silver hinge clasp bangle is all over embossed with harvest flowers, corn and wheat motives.

The 833 silver marked bangle is exceptional and a true piece of Portuguese silver art.

The bangle holds the signature for “David” - ascribed to the Portuguese maker David Rosas, a luxury Portuguese jewellery house rooted in a five-generation of gold and silver smithing traditions that began in 1860.

The bangle is in wonderful early 1900s condition with the camomile, poppy flower, wheat ears and corn cobs being exceptionally finely detailed and executed. It is beautiful.

Dimensions: 63.5mm x 59mm inside bangle diameter x 20mm wide x 25.6 grams in weight.

The clasp bangle closes well with a silver safety chain for extra security in wear.

Sells internationally in excess of R9600.00.
