A brilliantly hallmarked sterling silver late Art Deco treasure which is well preserved.
The Birmingham hallmark on the silver case reads for circa 1938. The compact, smaller sized silver case is well made and well preserved and could work wonderfully as either a cigarette case or a business card holder.
The case is beautifully decorated with linear Art Deco engine turned design both front and back.
The cartouche is engraved with a BB monogram addition.
It opens and closes well with lovely dimensions of 10cm long x 7cm wide and the case weighs a solid 57.2 grams.
Some age related dings but does not infringe on the beauty of this glorious silver case.
