Made by the house of the esteemed Theodor Fahrer of Germany, this rose brooch is magnificent.
Most jewellery connoisseurs can instantly recognise the style of Fahrner, one of the fathers of European Art Deco design. Fahrner led the field in “designer jewellery” during the first part of the 20th century, with many reputed artists and designers commissioned by him.
This modernist Rose flower shaped sterling silver and marcasite brooch is accented with a crisp white Akoya pearl held in the heart of the rose petals.
The brooch is in exceptional vintage condition and measures 49mm long x 44mm wide.
