.1940s era Limoges hand painted romantic vintage porcelain brooch pendant with fancy fine hand turned filigree gold washed French silver collectors piece

This incredibly beautiful hand painted portrait was hand made from hard-paste porcelain from the Limoges region of France.

The Limoges porcelain was known for their delicate, hand-painted designs, which often featured portraits of Victorian and Edwardian dames with rich detailing in gold and colour tones.

This era 1940s Limoges brooch, with it’s oversized pendant setting, is a truly, exceptionally painted porcelain portrait.

The finely painted Edwardian lady is dressed in a Spanish princess dress and is exceptionally set in hand spun, fine silver French silver that is gold washed. The hand spun silver border is fine with leaf and bow accents.

It is romantic and large and magnificently persevered.
