This solid silver, glorious, beautiful and perfect Art Deco revival Engine turned powder compact is hallmarked sterling silver, circa 1949 and in excellent condition.
The silver compact is all over engine turned front and back with a wheat sash border that holds the circumference of the powder compact.
It is exceptionally beautiful.
The powder compact still holds the original rouge sift and the original vanity mirror remains perfect, with a solid size of 18.8mm diameter and a brilliant weight of 122.9grams (108.1grams solid silver).
