This dancing sterling silver ballerina brooch is well hallmarked for Birmingham 1950 by the retailers mark DHP (D. H. Philips, wholesale art jewellers in Holborn Circus London). The brooch is part of a series of dancing dames and gents made by the silversmith Fredrick Massingham of Augusta street Birmingham.
The brooch condition is excellent with dimensions 51.5mm long x 38mm wide.
It is beautiful and a gracious brooch to gift and wear.
