An exceptional piece of Scandinavian Modernist art.

Made in solid copper, this large Tulip shape, rose gold coloured pendant is accented in earth tone browns, yellows and greens.

It was designed by the renowned Norwegian jewellery artist and designer Unn Tangerud who was recognized for her minimalist and Scandinavian-modern designs, which was often inspired by Viking-era art. Tangerud worked extensively with David Andersen in the 1960s-70s, including the highly regarded "Rustica" enamelled copper series.

The pendant is highly sought after and is a statement piece size at 63mm hang x 61mm wide. It is solid at 29.2grams.

Do note that there is a historic enamel mark within the one bottom left panel (pictured) - I have priced the pendant accordingly.

Note that the chains pictured are not included in the sale of this pendant.
