Modernist and hand made, this antique revival cross pendant is well made and steeped in symbolism.
The shape of the broad silver cross is similar to a cross Patonce - a heraldic cross that resembles a fleur-de-lis. This cross design is frequently used to symbolise the Trinity of faith, wisdom, and chivalry.
The cross is well sized and broad and brushed silver with a modernist engraving that differs from side to side.
The silversmith and silver grading marks are not clear but the cross tests as high grade silver, with similar cross designs matching these tests at 950 silver.
