This exquisite black and gold lacquerware duck box is a brilliant, handcrafted trinket box that originated from Myanmar (Burma).
Featuring a carved duck shape with a removable lid, this vintage collectible “duck-box” is decorated with intricate real gold-leaf accents over a polished black lacquered base.
The duck trinket box has dimensions of 13mm long x 8.5mm high.
It is lovely.
Do note that there is slight paint bubbling along the crown of the Duck head and below his throat.
