This lovely and sweetest black and gold lacquerware Owl wooden trinket box container is a brilliant, handcrafted trinket box that originated from Myanmar (Burma).
Featuring a carved, upright standing Owl figure with a removable lid as head, this vintage collectible “owl-box” is decorated with intricate real gold-leaf accents over a polished black lacquered base.
The owl trinket container stands upright with dimensions of 50mm high x 40mm diameter.
It is truly darling.
Do note that there is slight gold paint lightening along the beak and “rub points” of the removable Owl head lid. It remains darling and is priced accordingly.
