An exceptional and rare treasure - this large and ornate high carat repousse gold cross is intricately detailed with early 1800s styled floral scroll patterning.
I have found no other cross locket like it, believing the cross is of early to mid 1800’s French origin.
The central part of the cross holds a double sided glass pendant frame - opening on one side to allow the wearer to add their life memories and keepsakes.
