Scottish silver is highly desirable and collectable.  It is a thing of beauty and when it is this single struck Victorian era King’s Pattern design, you’d want to own and collect these 8 sterling silver teaspoons.

The hallmarked, circa 1870 Edinburgh teaspoons are in the single struck Kings pattern design. Single struck flatware is mostly from Scotland - in neighbouring England the patterns were usually double struck, with patterns on both sides.

The spoons are the larger size teaspoon, which was used for dessert or afternoon tea.

The spoons each weigh a good 17.7grams each (8 total weight of 138.9 grams) and are in very good 150 year antique condition.

Each spoon is monogramed with a light scroll JH and hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland by the maker PC, possibly P Cunningham.  The hallmarks on all 8 spoons are truly well struck and include the young Victoria monarch or duty mark, the Edinburgh city mark and Scotland mark and the date mark for 1870.

These spoons are truly incredible and I use a similar set daily for my tea and coffee rituals.

Spoon size: 14.1cm long.

8 spoon silver weight: 138.9 grams.
